Curated and facilitated a private education influencers retreat in three weeks, managing a $95k budget. Increased client visibility with nearly 500k social impressions, one week post retreat. South by Southwest educational (SXSW EDU) panel curator and moderator. Facilitated the Professional Development session for the annual Educator Symposium, serving school founders and policy makers.
01. Culture Shift EDU.
We were tasked to invite impactful influencers in the educational and lifestyle sector to come together for three days in Jackson, Mississippi. This experience was designed to spark conversation and curiosity about building an educational ecosystem designed to support Black and Brown students in K-12 education, giving influencers a glimpse into the success that different models can contribute to that ecosystem, and discussing the different roles/levels of impact that influencers can play within the landscape.

02. Sip & Screen Social.
A social justice mixer and documentary screening touring several cities. Featuring “From Our Perspective.” Each mixer provided an intimate and candid conversation about building an ecosystem to support Black & Brown students in K-12 education and provide information on the roles that community members can play in the landscape.
03. SXSW EDU.
For The Culture: The Impact of Influencers. Recently, we’ve seen the education and entertainment worlds collide, as celebrities, influencers and athletes like Jalen Rose, Lebron James, Pharrell Williams and Sean Combs are supporting and even starting schools. In this panel, we discussed how to transform the conversation around educational opportunity and bring it to mainstream environments so that more families will have greater access to quality learning and control of their children’s futures.
04. Custom Facilitation
Facilitated a three-hour custom workshop for the EdChoice Reimaging Education Millennial Convening Series: Educators' Symposium designed to support the personal and professional development of attendees as they engaged in dialogue and conversations around educational entrepreneurship and how ed policy impacts the role they can play in driving policy changes to support an increase opportunities.
